Job Description

We are looking for an Account Manager to reinforce the Canadian sales presence to help grow the customer base of VusionGroup. You will build and close pipeline of Canadian independent SMB (Small to Medium) regional retailers in predefined verticals (Pharmacy) to sell the VusionGroup solutions. To start, the primary focus of this role will be opening new retail verticals.
- Business Development to create new leads and open new verticals
- Sign initial pilots and build relationships with buying groups
- Develop Pharmacy vertical
- Relationship building / Account management of buying groups, franchisees, or potential partners. Ex. POS (already integrated)
- Find sales and key partnerships
- Effectively executes sales activities and maintains a pipeline to generate revenue to meet or exceed sales goals and expectations.
- Establishes multiple contacts and builds relationships at multiple levels and departments with prospects, developing advocates within a customer’s organization to strengthen relationships.
- Grow and Manage relationships with Buying Groups in order to; develop marketing initiatives, drive new business, and maintain a successful partnership.
- Calling campaigns to convert identified leads to opportunities to customers
- Present online demos describing the company, solution and offering
- Physical sales meetings for larger customers
- Participation in trade shows to assist in closing deals
- Focus on closing deals vs cold calling – developing and signing businesses.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATION WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience:
- 4 years of sales/ business development experience
- Experience working within a start-up and/or ambiguous environment, with proven experience to be adaptable.
- Full Sales cycle experience.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of selling in the Pharmacy industry to SMB clients preferred.
- Go-getter mentality with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Abilities:
- Ability and desire to achieve aggressive deadlines and sales targets.
- Ability to be flexible to travel requirements: 50% (majority is Domestic travel) including trade shows and client visits
- Language: French and English mandatory
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- Marketing experience and/or working closely with a Marketing Lead Generation team is a plus.
- Creative sales mindset and self-driven.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Experience within a software as a service (SaaS) company.
- Experience selling into retail environments, focusing on C-Suite clients.
