Job Description: Provide superior customer service and account management to an assigned National Account by maintaining ongoing customer communications, coordination of material for customer’s projects, and becoming an extension of the account’s business. The Account Manager will interact with all departments to help support the customer’s needs of inventory management, pricing, and technical support. The Account Manager will also be responsible for account growth and development through customer visits and relationship building. Job Duties: Processes customer’s orders and handles customer inquiries by phone and/or email Coordinates with the Material Management Department in assisting of needed inventory levels for specific customer Understand and correctly price quotes to customer Communicate with onsite personnel to coordinate construction shipments and troubleshoot any issues Develop product knowledge through attending company product training class, individual study, and conducting company product training class Develop rapport with customer to build relationship Interact with other company departments to resolve customer issues Organizes and attends periodic customer visits and attends tradeshows Requirements Skills / Qualifications / Experience: High School Diploma or GED Required; Associates/Bachelors Degree Preferred Experience in customer service and sales Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills Strong communication and follow up skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work and focus on multiple projects at the same time Ability to work well with others Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Physical Requirements: include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
