Description:
Position Overview: The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with higher education institutions. This role is critical to ensuring that our clients maximize their use of the Skillsetter platform across multiple courses and programs over several semesters. By working closely with faculty and administration, the Account Manager will drive adoption, manage the multi-semester rollout process, and help institutions transition from single-semester licenses to multi-year, program-wide licenses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in account management, customer success, or consultative sales, preferably in the SaaS or education sector.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex, long-term client engagements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building trust and credibility.
- A consultative and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value to clients.
- Familiarity with the higher education landscape and the challenges faced by faculty and administrators is a strong plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with faculty and administrative decision-makers at higher education institutions to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Product Expansion: Collaborate with clients to develop and execute multi-semester rollout plans, guiding them to integrate Skillsetter into additional courses and programs.
- Consultative Sales: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying upselling opportunities and communicating the value of expanding their usage of Skillsetter.
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation and adoption process, including coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and curriculum mapping.
- Data-Driven Insights: Monitor account performance, identify potential challenges, and proactively address them to keep clients engaged and successful.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Customer Success (CS) team, Curriculum Design team, and other stakeholders to align strategies and drive growth.
