As an Account Manager / Social Media Lead, you’ll build positive client relationships while overseeing social accounts. You’ll play a key role on the account management team, supporting senior members while managing your own clients. Leveraging your knowledge of social media trends, you’ll ensure our client’s online presence is strategic, engaging, and constantly evolving.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience (agency experience is a plus)
  • Proven experience in digital and social media marketing projects
  • Strong client service skills
  • Superior writing and editing abilities
  • Outstanding organization and project management skills
  • Familiarity with media across digital, print, TV, social media, and radio
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools like HeyOrca!
  • Event planning and management skills an asset
Responsibilities
  • Support account leads in managing client relationships
  • Develop project briefs and coordinate with creative, strategy, and production teams to ensure timely delivery within the set budget
  • Act as a trusted advisor for your own clients, build a lasting relationship with them, and help them achieve business goals and objectives
  • Manage client social media accounts and ensure consistent brand messaging and engagement
  • Work closely with the creative team to develop engaging content aligned with the strategy
  • Schedule and post content across various platforms to maintain an optimized content calendar
  • Track and report on campaign performance metrics
  • Assist with client documentation, including status reports, budget control updates, estimates for new business, timelines, and workback schedules
  • Contribute positively to agency culture
