POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our growing team. This person will serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service, consistent communication, and the execution of marketing strategies that align with client goals. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about helping businesses grow through digital and traditional marketing channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in account management, marketing, or a related field (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media, email, content marketing, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Agency Analytics (preferred), and project management tools
  • Ability to attend occasional networking events, tradeshows, and client meetings
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a team-first attitude
Responsibilities
  • Attend and participate in client meetings; take detailed notes and provide follow-up as needed
  • Prepare meeting agendas and ensure client meeting prep is thorough and strategic
  • Maintain strong client relationships, managing a portfolio of new and existing accounts
  • Communicate regularly (daily/weekly) with clients regarding progress, results, and next steps
  • Set up and track client deliverables including keyword research, TapClicks reporting, Google Ads/SEO progress, and ad campaign performance
  • Provide strategic marketing direction and collaborate with internal teams on project execution
  • Manage and traffic client projects through various phases—ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
  • Create marketing proposals tailored to client objectives and budgets
  • Assist with media buys (print, TV, billboards) and manage programmatic advertising when needed
  • Look for upsell opportunities and growth areas for assigned accounts
  • Handle onboarding updates and scope changes, including acquiring logins, credit card information, and access to platforms
  • Confirm and schedule client meetings and attend industry networking events and tradeshows as assigned
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Operations & Account Management to ensure seamless workflow across departments
  • Ensure analytics dashboards are correctly set up and reporting per client expectations
  • Review and confirm correct keyword usage for SEO and Google Ads campaigns
  • Assist with event planning and coordination when needed
  • Manage or support client social media accounts as needed
  • Uphold Southern View Media’s standards for client service and communication
