We are growing our commercial team and seeking a strong, relationship‑driven Account Manager to support key customers within the appliance segment.   POSITION OVERVIEW The Account Manager – Appliance Segment will serve as the primary commercial liaison for strategic customers in the appliance industry. This role focuses on developing long‑term customer partnerships, driving account growth, supporting new product opportunities, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This is a remote role, but the selected candidate must reside within a 90‑mile radius of Madison, Wisconsin due to customer visits, territory coverage, and periodic on‑site meetings. No relocation assistance is available.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage and grow assigned accounts within the appliance segment, acting as the main point of contact for customer communication and relationship management. * Develop account plans, forecasts, and strategies aligned with customer roadmaps and SSW business goals. * Identify new business opportunities, including product expansions, value‑added services, and long‑term strategic partnerships. * Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Customer Service teams to ensure customer requirements are met. * Lead the commercial aspects of RFQs, pricing proposals, product changes, and contract negotiations. * Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs within the appliance sector. * Coordinate and conduct customer visits, business reviews, and presentations as needed. * Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and deliver regular reporting to the Commercial Director.   QUALIFICATIONS Required: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). * 3+ years of account management, customer-facing, or sales experience in manufacturing, appliance, industrial, or related sectors. * Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, and timelines simultaneously. * Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools. * Must reside within 90 miles of Madison, Wisconsin and be able to travel regularly within the region.
