ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years’ account management experience in major events, festivals, or activations, with strong sponsorship and logistics know-how
  • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects under tight deadlines
  • Experience handling high-volume accounts while delivering top-tier service across varied workstreams
  • Strong stakeholder management, including senior internal and external relationships
  • Confident problem-solver with a flexible, solutions-focused mindset
  • Skilled in tools like Monday.com and Microsoft Office for project and content management
  • Clear, effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Account Manager is tasked with managing the sponsorship campaign delivery for a portfolio of SXSW Sydney Commercial Partners. This role is key to ensuring the successful end-to-end delivery of Partner sponsorship benefits.
Please note: The role is a contract position until the 31 October, 2025.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES YOU TO:

  • Work outside of normal business hours and on the weekends closer to the event (during SXSW Sydney event week, and in lead up to the event).
  • Spend extended periods of time on your feet at events (during SXSW Sydney event week)
