Description

At Holloway Bond, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team in Cirencester. In this role, you will be responsible for managing business rates accounts while driving revenue through telephone-based sales. You’ll build trustworthy client relationships and ensure accounts are managed efficiently and compliantly.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience in telephone sales, telesales, or account management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively and with attention to detail.
  • A proactive and target-driven approach.
  • Knowledge of business rates (desirable but not essential – training provided).
  • Good IT and CRM system skills.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of client cases, ensuring contracts are secured efficiently and all activities are carried out with full accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct proactive telephone sales calls to newly identified cases, presenting services clearly and persuasively.
  • Follow up leads with informative and personalised email communication, issuing contracts and documentation where appropriate.
  • Professionally explain and present identified reductions on clients’ business rates, ensuring information is delivered in a clear and accurate manner.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong client relationships to encourage referrals, and generate positive reviews/testimonials.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date records within the CRM system to support efficient case management and reporting.
  • Work consistently to achieve agreed sales targets and performance KPIs, contributing to overall team and business objectives.
  • Provide high-quality after-sales support, including following up with clients for outstanding documentation, addressing queries, and ensuring a smooth ongoing service experience.
