Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for a busy and varied role that allows you to utilise your range of group charter sales skills within a close-knit team? If so, apply now as we are looking for a Time Critical Account Manager to join our German Cargo team on a hybrid basis. You will be responsible for delivering revenue and profitability in accordance with your agreed targets and providing Air Partner Logistics solutions to existing and new customers.
To be effective in this role you will demonstrate proactive sales ability, smart procurement abilities, resourceful aircraft location, creative presentation of offers, outstanding commercial awareness, insightful closing techniques and robust administration with the required logistics arrangements.

Accountabilities

  • To grow and be an integral part of a team in a fast-paced environment, offering exceptionally high service to all existing and new customers
  • To be able to offer a variety of Time Critical services including hand carry options (OBC), next flight out (NFO), full and part charters, hybrid solutions and road transport while increasing the Air Partner brand awareness to customers and suppliers
  • Research relevant industry data, create new sales leads, contact existing and new customers by phone or in person, build new business for Air Partner in a competitive market
  • Represent Air Partner at Exhibitions, conferences etc.
  • Assisting with client care activities and supplier relations
  • After sales service and orderly maintenance of paperwork/files
  • Standby Duty/out of hours work often in pressured, time sensitive situations

Candidate Requirements

  • Knowledge and expertise from an air cargo/freight forwarding time critical related background is preferred.
  • Good understanding of changing markets both in airline operators and customers
  • Customer focused with good people skills and the ability to form relationships with key individuals
  • Ability to anticipate and out manoeuvre rivals in competitive situations
  • Experienced working in an international, multi-cultural environment
  • A goal-driven, high-energy individual that is both an independent worker and a strong team player
  • Must be competitive, highly motivated and hungry to win business
  • Logical approach to problem solving and adapt at keeping up with a changing situation
  • Anticipates and intervenes, to recover a situation in a timely and constructive way
