We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Burnaby, BC
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this position involves managing and growing a defined territory of accounts to surpass corporate revenue and objectives. The successful candidate will use solution selling expertise and strong communication/presentation skills to develop and manage new and existing customer relationships within the territory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
  • Two to three years of direct work experience in a sale or tele sales capacity
  • Post -secondary education in a related field
  • Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Responsibilities
  • Present and promote the benefits of TST-CF Express in order to secure freight.
  • Identify and solicit new customers.
  • Expanding existing business within in region
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell
  • Present pricing, rate quotes, and credit terms to customers.
  • Consult with client, operations staff and customer care to provide superior service to new and existing customers.
  • Review and communicate information regarding service offerings, competitors and market conditions.
  • Performing all other tasks associated with the sales function and other duties as may be assigned.
