OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving business development, and ensuring customer satisfaction. REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience or internship in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Shipment Coordination: Assist in the scheduling and tracking of shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate documentation.
  • Carrier Liaison: Communicate with carriers to confirm shipment schedules, track load statuses, and resolve any shipping issues.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service to clients by answering inquiries, providing status updates, and addressing any concerns related to shipments.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and invoices.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Input shipment data into logistics management systems and generate reports for internal and client purposes.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle minor shipment disruptions or delays, working with carriers and customers to find resolutions and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure effective coordination and timely execution of logistics activities.
  • Compliance: Ensure shipments comply with all legal and regulatory requirements related to transportation and freight.
