About ShopCash Wego is the most popular travel search engine in the Middle East and among the leading players in online travel in Southeast Asia. ShopCash is a new cashback and rewards program launched by Wego in MENA in 2020. ShopCash gives users access to a wide range of cashback offers, promo codes, deals and vouchers from a variety of merchants. ShopCash was developed to make brands and deals discovery easier while enabling users to save on every purchase Team Description The ShopCash team manages merchant partnerships and drives growth across the cashback and rewards ecosystem. The team focuses on building strong, performance-driven partnerships with online brands and retailers, optimizing campaigns, and ensuring accurate tracking, reconciliation, and commercial outcomes. Working closely with product, marketing, operations, and finance, the team plays a critical role in scaling ShopCash across Egypt and the GCC. The Role The Account Manager will manage and grow ShopCash’s merchant portfolio across Egypt and the GCC region. The role is primarily focused on account management, ensuring existing merchant partnerships are optimized for performance, retention, and mutual growth, while also supporting new partnership development initiatives. As the primary point of contact for assigned merchants, the Account Manager will oversee day-to-day relationship management, campaign coordination, performance tracking, and issue resolution. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tracking, timely cashback approvals, successful campaign launches, and continuous performance improvement. What you will be working on Managing a portfolio of active merchant accounts and acting as the primary relationship owner Ensuring smooth onboarding of new merchants, including setup, tracking validation, content readiness, and launch coordination Monitoring merchant performance against agreed KPIs and identifying optimization opportunities Coordinating promotional calendars, seasonal campaigns, exclusive offers, and short-term boosts Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of merchant-funded cashback, tracking links, and reconciliation support Resolving tracking discrepancies, cashback approval issues, and campaign-related challenges Preparing regular performance reports and insights for merchants and internal stakeholders Identifying upsell and advertising opportunities within existing accounts Supporting new partnership outreach, pitch preparation, and partnership development initiatives Core Responsibilities Own and manage day-to-day merchant relationships to drive retention and long-term growth Analyze account performance data and provide actionable recommendations Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, operations, customer success, and finance teams Support negotiation discussions by providing performance benchmarks and market insights Assist in piloting new partnership models, campaigns, or integrations Represent ShopCash in merchant meetings and partner discussions as required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 3 to 6 years of experience in account management, partnerships, affiliate marketing, digital advertising, or e-commerce-related roles Strong understanding of performance-based marketing models including affiliate, cashback, CPA, or revenue share Proven ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining strong attention to detail Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action Strong communication and relationship-management skills Experience working with CRM tools, reporting dashboards, and Excel or Google Sheets Ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and finance teams Self-starter with strong ownership and problem-solving capabilities Ability to operate in a fast-paced, scaling environment Based in Cairo with flexibility for a hybrid working setup Fluent in English and Arabic
