Location: Accra, Ghana Compensation: USD 800–1,000 net/month + 1.5% commission on total deal value About Our Client Our client is a leading Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) with a strong footprint across West Africa. They deliver advanced cybersecurity solutions to government institutions, financial services organizations, and enterprises across the region. Their Ghana operation is a critical growth market, and they are investing in commercial leadership to capture expanding demand. The Role This is a commercially-driven Account Manager position responsible for managing and growing client relationships across Ghana. You will serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients, drive revenue through consultative selling of cybersecurity solutions, and represent the organisation at industry events and roundtables. This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. Key Responsibilities Own and grow a portfolio of client relationships across government, financial services, and enterprise sectors in Ghana Identify client security needs and architect appropriate solution recommendations from the firm's cybersecurity services portfolio Drive revenue performance through new client acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling — with clear sales targets Serve as the face of the organisation at industry events, conferences, and client meetings Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure seamless service execution and sustained client satisfaction Candidate Profile 3–5 years of experience in account management, business development, or sales within IT, telecommunications, or cybersecurity Strong understanding of cybersecurity services, solutions, and the West African enterprise landscape Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets Proactive, trustworthy, resilient, and an exceptional communicator with strong relationship-building capability Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field Professional certifications in sales, account management, or cybersecurity are an advantage (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA Security+, Certified Sales Professional) Experience 3–5 years of progressive experience in account management, business development, or B2B sales Experience within the IT, telecommunications, or cybersecurity industry is preferred Demonstrated track record of managing client portfolios and achieving or exceeding revenue targets Experience selling to government institutions, financial services organisations, or enterprise clients is a strong advantage Familiarity with the Ghanaian and West African business environment Technical Skills Working knowledge of cybersecurity services and solutions (managed security, threat detection, incident response, compliance) Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or equivalent) Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace Ability to prepare and deliver client presentations and proposals Core Competencies Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Consultative selling ability — the capacity to diagnose client needs and architect appropriate solutions Commercial acumen and negotiation capability Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams Resilience, adaptability, and comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment High ethical standards and professionalism Location Requirement Based in Accra, Ghana Ability to travel within Ghana for client meetings and industry events Benefits Compensation Net monthly salary: USD 800–1,000 (GHS 8,832–11,040 net; GHS 11,895–15,010 gross) Commission: 1.5% on total deal value Professional development and growth opportunities in a dynamic, expanding environment
