Ultimately, our team develops strategies and implements solutions to protect and grow brands, from packaging to MAP support.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

ROLE

The Account Manager at ZQUARED is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and operations. This role involves collaborating with external accountants, and internal departments to support financial planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making. The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and providing insights to drive business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and financial controls.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial projections.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance financial operations.
