APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members.
We are seeking a Business Partner to join the Licensing Operations team in our Sydney office. This role is a full-time permanent position, reporting to our Manager, Business Partners.
In the newly created of Business Partner, Media Licensing you’ll focus on building positive customer relationships across various sectors within our Media Licensing business. You will ensure customer reporting obligations are met and use reported data to generate accurate invoicing, ultimately resulting in royalty payments to APRA AMCOS members and affiliates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and compile financial reporting from managed account customers.
  • Manage the invoicing process, including the creation and distribution of documents.
  • Ensure timely and accurate debt recovery for all invoices.
  • Maintain and update financial records and databases.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing and reporting.Provide support during audits and financial reviews.

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, invoicing, or a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of integrity and professionalism.
