SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years sales experience in the automation industry or below
• Previous sales experience required
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and CRM software
• University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Customer service focused
• Ability to manage time effectively with minimum supervision

• Complete prospecting and follow-up calls to market Sort business
• Proactively building relationships by conducting regular sales calls/visits to existing customers
• Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details within CRM software on a daily basis
• Work in conjunction with Suppliers (Sick, Turck, LED) and sales team by completing joint calls
• Complete customer demonstrations to maximize customer experience and product awareness. May also include a trial/demo unit, to enhance customer experience
• Plan and deliver a variety of workshops
• Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events as required
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, showcasing account planning/activity to be review with Sales Manager on a regular basis
• Ensure the achievement of sales objectives on a monthly basis
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
