JOB SUMMARY:

The Institutional Retirement Service Representative facilitates the efficient operations of the of the Institutional Trust Operations department and serves as the day-to-day contact for Third Party Administrators / Record-Keepers

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a Client Support / Retirement Industry position
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Interact with clients in a consultative way
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a team

Responsibilities
  • Monitor MATC web site and phone calls
  • Respond to and resolve client inquiries
  • Establish and review client accounts and the necessary documentation
  • Work with fund companies to get accounts established quickly
  • Monitor and process client account workflow
  • Complete fund applications
  • Coordinate meetings and agendas
  • Conduct web-based demos
  • Actively participate in client meetings or conference calls
  • Document internal operating procedures
  • Represent the company and its services professionally and with polish
  • Address trading communication issues
  • Familiarize your self with the other departments and roles
  • Learn and understand regulatory and compliance issues related to client on-boarding
  • Assist with reconciling accounts to meet statement deliverables
  • Respond to auditor requests
  • Perform data entry
  • Become well versed in the MATC Trust system (TNS)
  • Assist with asset transfers cross-departments
