Description Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of an Account Servicing Department Supervisor, it is the basic responsibility of the Account Servicing Specialist to input and maintain customer’s deposit and loan account information within the bank’s database, track supporting documents, and balance related internal accounts through the consistent use of best practices for compliance, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and other relevant measures of quality. Duties/Responsibilities: Review stop payment orders entered into computer system for completeness and accuracy Review deposit account exception holds for accuracy of both the data input into database and the notice sent to customer Add and release loan collateral holds on deposit accounts pursuant to loan documents and release authorizations Process deposit account verification requests from third parties in accordance with bank’s privacy policy Process garnishment and levy orders in accordance with bank policy Review and verify accuracy of additions and modifications to deposit account database made by Personal Bankers and Call Center personnel in accordance with the bank policy, the Bank Secrecy Act, and other applicable regulations Enter real estate collateral information into property tax tracking database Analyze Escrow accounts on an annual basis Verify completeness and accuracy of Synergy document database for deposit and loan accounts which may be input and modified at all bank locations Receive loan files and update appropriate workflow Handle routine inquiries made by customers or other bank employees in an efficient and courteous manner Adhere to sensitive deadline and time constraints Perform all necessary duties to ensure effective workflow and effective realization of total department goals Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to exhibit our core values; Integrity, Enthusiasm, Accountability, Excellence, Customer First, Professionalism, and Respect. Education and Experience: Associate degree preferred Bookkeeping/banking experience may compensate for formal education Microsoft Word and Excel experience
