This Position reports to:
Manager, Production Engineering & Documentation
The Insourcing Account Specialist works at our manufacturing facility for emergency lighting products and printed circuit boards. Their primary mandate is to manage all aspects of the relationship with our internal ABB customers. As the main point of contact for customers within our manufacturing site, they communicate customer requirements to internal departments while safeguarding the interests of the plant. The specialist ensures on-time delivery, cost tracking, order entry, and invoicing. They act as a liaison between customers and operations.
This role is contributing to the Electrification, Smart Buildings division of ABB and is located in Dorval.
The work model is hybrid, with 3 days per week at the office.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the daily point of contact for internal customers and build lasting relationships to stay informed of new business opportunities.
  • Enter orders, track costs, surcharges, and invoicing, and manage the order book with customers using MRP and ERP systems and collaborating with operations teams.
  • Follow up on technical issues and quality returns (RMA) with internal teams, coordinate resolutions with engineering, quality, and production, and ensure customer follow-up.
  • Provide customs documentation and support shipping processes to ensure smooth delivery of goods.
  • Ensure sales targets are met and monthly forecasts are tracked with customers, maintaining performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct periodic program reviews with customers and the operations team.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by relaying customer needs and issues to relevant operational departments.
