POSITION PURPOSE: Under the direction of the Business Relationship Manager, the Customer Service Representative builds strong relationships externally with customers, and internally with engineering, quality, scheduling, and shipping to ensure accurate timely updates of customer schedules and releases along with the new entry of orders. Full-Time Salary Range: $20-$25 Hourly DOE Shift: M-F 1st shift: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (flexible) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Review customer demand via customer portals, EDI, or emailed purchase orders and enter in ERP system Maintain customer files in ERP system including current customer billing and shipping contact information, contracts and comments for packing slips and shipping requirements Communicate changes and updates in scheduled deliveries to customer & provide tracking information if required. Organize and maintain requests for quote packages using CRM software including following up. Collaborate with customers on forecasts and upcoming releases Process all new customer parts for routing including the scanning of prints into customer print files, ensuring that any required specs noted on prints are on file in the customer’s spec file Follow the advanced quality planning process through the workflow for new and changed parts Participate in daily / weekly meetings for production and RFQ updates RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management deems necessary. Enter customer orders and coordinate shipping details between scheduling and the customer Cross reference quotes to orders to ensure matching price, lead times, revisions, terms, etc Update customers on order status during production Resolve any customer returns or disputes and request for credit and/or follow-up actions Distribute open order reports to customers weekly and report any slow-moving inventory REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
