BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or master’s with 6+ years of prior relevant experience (Direct professional experience and relevant credentials may be considered to supplement degree or minimum years requirement).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience delivering mandated training, both in-person and virtual environments.
  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Office, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Familiar with Crucial Conversations for Accountability.
    Prior Federal Government contracting experience, preferably FAA, is highly desired.
Responsibilities

THE LEIDOS NATIONAL AIRSPACE SYSTEMS INTEGRATION SUPPORT (NISC) PROGRAM IS SEEKING A TRAINING PROFESSIONAL FOR THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION’S (FAA) ACCOUNTABILITY TRAINING PROGRAM IN THE WASHINGTON DC METROPOLITAN AREA.

The Air Traffic Facilities and Engineering Services (AJW-2) organization is one of four offices (and three service areas) in the Technical Operations (AJW) service unit of the Air Traffic Organization (ATO). AJW-2 has the primary responsibility for planning, managing and executing programs and projects that establish or replace a wide array of components of the National Airspace System (NAS) for the purpose of sustaining or modernizing this critical U.S. aviation infrastructure. AJW-2’s success in prioritizing and achieving positive results from its strategic initiatives and transformation objectives is highly dependent on the individual and collective leadership capabilities of the key managers in the organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the FAA Program Lead in maintaining and enhancing the Crucial Conversations for Accountability Training Program to ensure alignment of FAA and AJW-2 business objectives.
  • Assist with the development and management of the AJW-2 training hub on SharePoint conducting the analysis to implement and improve the training.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on industry trends to determine optimal course layout and instructional content to maximize skill transference to multiple learning styles.
  • Ensure logistical and administrative components for all Crucial Conversations for Accountability training sessions (e.g., schedule management, training coordination, entering data in the FAA learning management system [eLMS], participant feedback survey results, etc.).
  • Support Crucial Conversations for Accountability Program Lead with various agency training initiatives and concepts through strategy sessions as well as collaborating with training coordinators across various FAA regions.
