This is more than just a portfolio manager role. It’s a genuine mix of client ownership, accounts work, internal coordination, and compliance oversight - ideal for a practice-trained accountant who enjoys working closely with clients but still wants to stay involved in delivery and standards.
You’ll be the named contact for a portfolio of clients, overseeing service, reviewing work, liaising with internal teams, and ensuring everything remains compliant and on time.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of clients across varied sectors
  • Acting as the main point of contact for client advice and service coordination
  • Reviewing accounts and tax work prepared by the team (with some hands-on involvement)
  • Ensuring internal processes and regulatory standards are followed
  • Collaborating with payroll, tax, accounts and onboarding teams
  • Supporting and guiding more junior colleagues
  • Spotting opportunities to improve service and efficiency
