Job Description ABOUT THE ROLE: The role is responsible for end-to-end financial accounting and reporting across multiple entities with complex holding structures, including SPVs, property companies, and holding companies. This includes day-to-day accounting activities such as processing bank statements, incoming and outgoing invoices, transactions, accruals, and provisions and maintaining interest, amortization, and depreciation schedules. The position oversees month-end and intercompany reconciliations, prepares financial statements, NAVs, and management accounts, and supports intercompany settlements. The role also provides financial data for tax compliance; prepares cash flow analyses, management reports, liquidity reporting, and quarterly NAV and FMV reports; and supports lending bank requirements. Additionally, the position plays a key role in year-end and audit processes, assisting with consolidations, preparing internal and external financial reports and annual accounts, coordinating with administrators and external auditors, and delivering ad hoc reports and reconciliations as required. Qualifications ABOUT YOU: Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CA or equivalent professional qualification is a strong advantage. Technical Expertise: Mandatory experience with Yardi and strong familiarity with financial and accounting reporting systems, including SOX and internal controls. Industry & Functional Experience: Proven experience with direct real estate investments and complex accounting structures. Analytical & Execution Skills: Ability to work under pressure, multitask, prioritize effectively, analyze technical accounting issues, and make sound, well-reasoned decisions with strong attention to detail. Professional & Interpersonal Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English, highly proficient in spreadsheets and computer applications, proactive and initiative-driven, and a collaborative team player with integrity and professionalism.
