Job Description Job Summary: An entry-level accounting position responsible for delivering basic fund accounting services under supervision. This role focuses on standardized processes and routine financial operations while developing core accounting competencies. The position handles low-complexity clients and tasks within established frameworks. Core Responsibilities: Preparing daily position and trade reconciliations between multiple clients’ books and records and their Prime Brokers’ Working with multiple clients and prime brokers on trade break resolutions Preparing monthly tri-party position, cash, market value and accrual reconciliations Preparing monthly performance estimates for multiple COO clients Prepare monthly Administrator NAV Packages and make updates to the portfolio accounting system if necessary Build and maintain fund accrual schedules Processing Corporate Actions for securities held in client portfolios, including cash and stock dividends, stock splits, and mergers and acquisitions Providing support for the conversion of new clients (middle office), including providing training to clients on technology and processes Assist in the development and training of new team members as required Complete ad-hoc client requests according to internal client service timelines Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage Qualified: 0-1years FA Experience (End o end); 1-2 years Financial Industry Experience Partly-Qualified: 0-1 years FA Experience; 1-2 years Financial Industry Experience Skills and Key Behaviours: In addition to upholding our Group Values (Authentic, Bold, and Collaborative), the role holder will be expected to demonstrate the following: General knowledge of and familiarity with financial instruments (i.e. equities, fixed income, options, swaps, futures, foreign exchange) within both domestic and global securities markets Must have attention to detail and ability to multi-task Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client relationship management Strong working knowledge of hedge funds and/or mutual funds Hard-working, dedicated, punctual and personable Strong research and writing skills Strong accounting and analytical skills Strong computer skills: Advanced Excel, Portfolio Accounting Systems (Enfusion, Geneva, etc) Additional Information OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU AND THE ENVIRONMENT As a forward-looking business, sustainability is integral to our strategy and operations.
