PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in novated leasing and technology/SAAS industries is an advantage

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a diligent and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes for the financial services line of business. This role plays a key part in ensuring the integrity of financial data and providing insights for business decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
  • Perform account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
  • Support the finance team in ad hoc projects, financial analysis and reporting tasks.
