Role: Accountant, Accounts Payable

Contract type: full-time, 1-year fixed term contract

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for fixed-term colleague for an Accountant, Accounts Payable role.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Process and verify invoices for payment in compliance with company policy for selected Marioff entities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Assist in month-end closing activities including accruals and reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and manage payment schedules.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

• A relevant degree (merkonomi or university) in the field of accounting / finance / economics
• Minimum a few years’ experience in the field of accounts payable or a similar accounting preferably from an international company including manufacturing operations.
• Fluent English skills
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, knowledge of ERP systems
• Team player and an open-minded attitude, being able to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
