You will make a significant contribution to the accurate, timely, and efficient processing of our accounting procedures and work closely with our global accounting team and internal contacts.Job Description

• Coordination and continuous optimization of the digital end-to-end invoice workflow within our global accounting team;
• Independent review, posting and booking of business transactions in the area of ​​accounts payable;
• Communication with external business partners and cross-functional collaboration with other teams to clarify accounting and payment-related issues;
• Control and processing of outstanding items as well as carrying out account reconciliations;
• Support and assumption of relevant tasks in the area of ​​accounts payable as part of the month-end closing;
• Support as a backup in the area of ​​accounts receivable, especially with account reconciliations, processing open items, posting incoming payments and clarifying customer-related accounting questions;
• Continuous improvement and digitalization of our business processes in the financial sector.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification;
• Basic knowledge of VAT law;
• Several years of professional experience required, preferably with experience in the startup or digital sector;
• Proficient use of financial accounting software and experienced use of MS Office programs, especially Excel;
• Proactive, structured and independent work style paired with strong analytical and communicative skills;
• Good comprehension skills and willingness to learn new things;
• A high degree of conscientiousness, reliability and commitment, coupled with a pragmatic way of working;
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
