The accountant performs a variety of general accounting tasks, including preparation of journal entries, accounts reconciliations and analysis, cash management activities and ad-hoc special projects.
Required Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from accredited university
• CPA and public accounting firm experience preferred
• At least three (3) years of strong experience in an accounting role
• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Creativity and outside-the-box thinking a definite plus

• Performs account analysis and reconciliations.
• Completes bank reconciliations.
• Analyzes revenue, cost of sales and operating expense trends and prepares related accruals.
• Performs inter-company balance review and reconciliation.
• Responsible for fixed asset accounting, reconciliation to fixed asset subledger and compliance with related accounting policies.
• Analyzes physical inventory variances and generates reports to facilitate management review.
• Assists with month-end close and consolidation processes, cash management activities, audit preparation and company merger and acquisition activities.
