Hi there, thanks for stopping by. We're glad to have gotten your attention, but we'll be thrilled when you apply. We're on the hunt for a new member of our team. We're eager to find someone who is passionate about what they do, and is excited for a new journey with our fantastic firm. About Carbon. We’re not your average professional services firm. Carbon launched in 2014 with the goal to shake up the industry and change the level of service that small and medium business owners received. We combine all the core business services in the one place (from accounting to bookkeeping to finance to insurance and everything in between), bringing together some of the best experts in the industry so our clients can focus on doing more of what they love. What it means to be a Carbonite. Our Carbonites are our best asset, and we’ve grown from a small team of 13 people in a single office in Perth to over 300 Carbonites nationwide, with offices in multiple states. A key element in our plan of world domination is having the best people possible to help us along the way. This is where you come in.   As our next Carbonite, you’ll be joining a team at multiple levels. You’ll be part of a team in your office, working with other talented people such as yourself. You’ll also be joining our national ranks, meaning you can easily tap into a knowledge base for a tricky question or to bounce ideas off of for the next team activity. Empowering our Carbonites is a big part of our mission and vision, so we focus on helping our Carbonites learn and grow, developing their careers in the direction that they want to go in. About the role.  As an Accountant at Carbon, you’ll be responsible for delivering quality accounting outcomes including the preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and tax requirements. You’ll be preparing jobs from start to finish across a range of areas such as financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and cost management. Because of this, you need to have experience in a public practice in Australia.  You’ll be working within a team of Carbonites who are all excellent at what they do and strive to foster a positive team environment where you’ll be able to thrive. We have internal and external training options. * Social activities to suit different people: Regular team events, office events, community giveback opportunities, etc. etc. * And, of course, we also offer some great benefits like discounts, cashbacks, rewards, and initiatives to support wellness. Ready to apply?  Great, we'd love to hear from you. Keep in mind that the desired skills and experience we listed above are all important components to this role, but that doesn't mean you need to tick every box to apply! We're dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and exciting team, so even if your past experience doesn't perfectly align with everything listed but you're passionate about this role and joining our firm, apply anyways.   * Show us what you’ve got (aka send through your resume) * Tell us why we'd be a great fit: 1.
