Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. As an Admin Cum Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit and Loss (P&L) statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations in all financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
  • Prepare and present detailed management reports, including variance analysis and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with other departments for comprehensive reporting.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Support internal and external audits, addressing queries and implementing audit recommendations.
  • Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. B.Com, M.Com, CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting.
