Description
Key Responsibilities * Collect cash and cheques from tenants and operations teams. * Perform daily cash counts and reconcile cash transactions, investigating and resolving discrepancies as required. * Ensure the safekeeping and proper management of cash on hand. * Deposit cash and cheques into the company's bank account in a timely manner. * Coordinate regularly with the Head Office Finance Team regarding accounting and financial matters. * Manage petty cash transactions and ensure compliance with company petty cash policies. * Report any non-compliance with approved financial policies to the CFO and Head Office Finance Team. * Prepare and record accounting entries in SAP for review and approval by authorized personnel. * Process employee reimbursement documentation and related accounting entries. * Maintain records of bounced or dishonoured cheques and report them to the CFO and Head Office Finance Team. * Prepare and record sales invoices in coordination with the Receivables Accountant. * Maintain accurate accounting records, including the general ledger and supporting documentation. * Provide support and necessary documentation to internal and external auditors. * Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities. * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant and Chief Financial Officer. Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are highly preferred. * Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience within a reputable organization. * Experience handling cash management, reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting. * Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP. * Fluent in English (written and spoken). * Arabic language skills will be an advantage. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. * Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems such as SAP, QuickBooks, Peachtree, or similar platforms. * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
