ABOUT ALPINE SKI CLUB

Alpine is a private, member-based ski club located in the Blue Mountains. We’re a community passionate about skiing, snowboarding, and enjoying the outdoors.
We’re seeking an Accountant to support our financial operations and help drive improvements that keep Alpine running smoothly behind the scenes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
  • 3 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
  • Proficient with accounting software, Excel, and cloud-based tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Bonus if you have experience with JONAS Club Software
    Weekend and holiday availability during the ski season is required to support the Club’s peak operational needs.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $68,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Perform full-cycle accounting
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and manage remittances and government filings
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support internal and external reporting
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Recommend and implement process and technology improvements
  • Support audits and maintain internal controls
  • Collaborate with department leaders to improve financial understanding and planning
