Position: Accountant / Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant
Location: Hybrid—based at our JLT office with regular site visits to apartments in Dubai Marina as needed

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CIMA certification a plus)
- 2+ years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Experience in the hospitality or travel industry is necessary; experience in real estate is a plus
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks is necessary; familiarity with other platforms (e.g., Xero, Zoho Books) is a plus
- Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws, DTCM regulations, and RERA requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)
- Driver’s license and own vehicle or reliable transportation is a plus
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain daily bookkeeping in AED: record journal entries, track invoices (AP/AR), payments, and receipts
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and payment platforms monthly
- Process vendor invoices and manage vendor payments, ensuring timely settlement and accurate record-keeping
- Prepare and file UAE VAT and DTCM returns; manage all tourism fees and corporate taxes
- Assist with payroll processing, wage transfers, and employee records
- Generate monthly management accounts and financial reports for the leadership team
- Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants during audits
Administrative Support & Inventory
- Organize and manage office and property inventories—supplies, linens, guest amenities, and maintenance stock
- Oversee bill payments (utilities, service contracts, subscriptions) and ensure all dues are settled on time
- Coordinate vendor relationships—from onboarding to contract renewals—and schedule services/inspections
- Handle general correspondence: email triage, phone inquiries, and visitor reception
- Maintain and organize both digital and physical filing systems (contracts, invoices, tenancy agreements)
- Conduct routine site visits to Marina properties for inspections, handovers, and vendor coordination
- Support ad-hoc projects, such as preparing presentations or updating SOP documents

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
