QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive and relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling).
• Strong experience with ERP systems, with preference for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
• Proficiency with dashboards and analytical/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software or tools independently

• Prepare, analyze, and review monthly internal financial statements and reports.
• Perform month end accounting
• Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for monthly, quarterly and yearly performance.
• Prepare, analyze, and review external financial statements under IFRS
• Assist with preparation of financial presentation and reports for management and Board of Directors
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to support financial and operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
• Work on ad hoc projects and analysis with general guidance and independently drive them to completion.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
• Leverage ERP system and reporting tool (JD Edwards and Cognos) for journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor queries.
• Work on continuous improvement and transformation of processes and systems within the accounting function.
• Occasionally provide training and technical guidance to other employees.
