OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of the organisation while ensuring operational excellence. REQUIREMENTS

  • Part-qualified or qualified in AAT / ACCA / CIMA / ACA (or studying towards).
  • Proven experience in UK finance function (bookkeeping, reporting, tax).
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, PAYE, HMRC regulations.
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) to communicate with Chinese clients and head office.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £30,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping & Transactions
  • Maintain accurate financial records (AP/AR, general ledger, journals).
  • Process invoices, payments, expenses and payroll.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash.
  • Financial Reporting
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Support preparation of VAT returns, PAYE, and other HMRC submissions.
  • Provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
  • Audit & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and company policies.
  • Liaise with external auditors during statutory audits.
  • Maintain internal controls and support risk management.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor departmental spend and provide financial insights to management.
  • Business Support
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (HR, Operations, Sales).
  • Provide financial advice to support business decisions.
  • Support implementation of finance systems and process improvements.
