Description
JOB PURPOSE Accountant is to ensure financial books are kept clean and accurate. Postings are to me made timely and comply to accounting standards, both externally and on a Group level in compliance with financial laws and regulations. To prepare and file taxes and support business decision-making. They may also provide financial forecasting, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable management, cash flow management, and data entry services. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. - Perform daily reconciliation of bank transactions, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date. - Reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) weekly, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. - Payment management for both overseas and local vendors. - Record overhead invoices in the database. - Reconcile VAT reports with tax invoices and ensure original documents are complete. - Support tax preparation and internal auditing. - Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations. - Perform other duties as required to support the finance & accounting department. QUALIFICATION Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a proven track record of success. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Good command of English Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficient in learning, adaptable, and dedicated.
