Job Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include the following, while other duties may be assigned thereafter: Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts. General ledger operations. Prepare journal entries. Assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements. Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports. Assist with account receivable and accounts payable. Assist with tax computations and returns. Assist in budgets and forecasts. Assist with payroll administration. Account/bank reconciliations. Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process. Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures. Qualifications Qualifications & Experience (Competencies Required) Educational Credentials (BA) in Finance/Accounting or other related field. CPA Certification (Chartered Public Accountant) would be an added benefit. Work Experience Minimum of 2yrs in Finance/Accounting. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Knowledge of financial reporting. Technical accounting skills. Previous experience of general accounting. Proficiency in relevant accounting software. Language Skills Ability to communicate clearly, read and write effectively; in English and Arabic (preferably) English language level shall not be less than proficiency Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a high level of computer skills Expert knowledge of integrated ERP systems is a pre requisite – e.g. SAP, Axapta, Oracle, or other Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word, and Inventory software Other Skills and Abilities Ability to effectively work in a multi-gender, multi-national work team; whilst displaying particular sensitivity towards cultural and ethnic differences Ability to travel frequently, in accordance to operational requirements Excellent planning, analytical, communication and organizational skills Ability to understand, interpret and anticipate operating environment Additional Information Skills: Self-motivated Knowledge in Facade and curtain wall market Problem solving abilities Excellent communication in Arabic and English Teamwork and team building Interpersonal skills Strong negotiations skills Working under pressure We offer competitive salaries, aligned with local market benchmarks and the specific scope and responsibilities of each role.
