You’ll play a key role in the financial success of hydro, wind, and solar operations—partnering closely with both finance and operational teams.
This position is downtown Calgary and works in a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 days from home).

What You’ll Do

• Manage revenue cycle accounting for multiple assets.
• Prepare invoicing, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, royalties, and system uploads.
• Review customer contracts to ensure accurate revenue recognition (including PPAs).
• Prepare standalone financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Partner with operational staff to analyze variances and improve processes.
• Maintain documentation for revenue-related accounting processes.

What You Bring

• Strong accounting fundamentals with proven revenue recognition expertise.
• Experience in complex, multi-entity environments is a must have.
• Comfort with high transaction volumes and detailed calculations.
• CPA designation (or in progress).
• Bonus: Renewable energy experience, particularly with PPAs and related contracts.
