Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements within the healthcare domain.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial stability and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements, accounts, and other financial records regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, financial statements, and other compliance-related documents as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of audits by providing documentation and explanations as necessary.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of financial information and records at all times.
