ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an Accountant to join our AR Finance Reconciliation team!
In this position you will be responsible for participating in the accounting month-end, by producing accounting journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, reports, analyses.
Working in a team of accountants and agents responsible for daily reconciliations, you will be directly involved in supporting the team during the month-end, participating in projects, and providing support to other accountants and the daily reconciliation team if necessary. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other receivables and accounting departments and develop knowledge accordingly.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

• Produce monthly reconciliations on assigned general ledger accounts, while respecting the deadlines.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, ensuring their accuracy, back-ups, and approval.
• Prepare any necessary analysis, report during and after the month-end.
• Participate in various team projects (e.g. implementation of new accounting or operational systems or process improvements).
• Respond to requests and questions from team members and other departments with a focus on customer service and escalating as needed.
• Answer questions from auditors during audits.
• Process other various tasks on month-end cycles.
