Job Description We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a reliable Accountant to join our top qualified and knowledgeable Finance Team in our Athens Office. Are you an adventurer? Role summary: As a member of the Finance team, you will support the Finance department in all its activities by undertaking among others, bookkeeping and reporting requirements of various books, monthly payroll, and running of labor cost exercises. What you will need to do: Post and process journal entries and bookkeeping both in accordance with Greek law and the Group reporting requirements to ensure that all transactions are recorded Participate in monthly/periodic closings - reporting and in all other Group's requests Perform bank, suppliers', enter/intra Group accounts reconciliation agreements on a monthly basis Calculate and record all accruals and assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and Group accounting and financial guidelines Preparing, processing payments Qualifications BSc degree in Finance or Accounting MSc degree in relevant areas will be highly welcomed Up to 4 years (ideally 2- 3) of experience in a similar position within an accounting firm or in-house accounting Excellent knowledge of Excel Full professional proficiency in English Good knowledge of the accounting cycle, principles and procedures Keen interest in and basic understanding of IFRS financial reporting principles and practice Working knowledge of a well-known accounting software is a plus What’s in it for you: Competitive salary and benefits are part of the offering, yet the real joy comes from being a member of smart and passionate teams, within an international leading EPC Group on a mission that matters.
