• Recording of daytoday transactions in Accounting system.
• Ensure Financial statement is prepared.
• Suggest for change in accounting process where it is required.
• Prepare monthly Variance report based on Actual and Budgeted P&L for each business unit.
• Participate in the preparation of the needed reports related to accounts payable (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually) on time for effective management decision making
• Managing accounts receivables and accounts payables and maintaining records of vendor relations and statuses
• Processing journal entries to the general ledger
• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts on weekly basis
• Working with the Manager in forecasting income and expenses
• Prepare monthly payroll and timely submission to the management
• To draft the management reports each month as per the requirement.
• Setup and maintain a Company Asset and supplier register.
• Streamlining of processes and automation of tasks
• Prepare reports for presentation to Directors and Stakeholders
• Provide effective credit control
• Develop a strong working relationship with key customers and ensure invoicing is correct and accurate
• Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
• Qualifications essential unless otherwise indicated:
• Qualified UAECA
• Understanding of UAE Taxation and Accounting systems (desirable)
• Experience to date
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office (word, excel, powerpoint)
• Budgeting / Forecasting and ability to analyze data
• Compiling management account for Directors and Stakeholders
• Creating and Monitoring Cost Centres
