KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION / SKILLS

  1. Assist with the month end process for all designated areas of the P&L and balance sheet, providing
    suitable reporting and additional analysis, in an accurate and timely manner.
  2. Develop working relationships with applicable staff at all sites and within the finance team to ensure all
    necessary information flows operate to enable production of the management accounts.
  3. Contribute to the process improvements at all levels to increase the efficiency and quality of all aspects
    of the accounting and reporting functions.
  4. Assist with the budgets and forecasts for the different sites across healthcare and education.
  5. Review trends, compare actual performance against budgets, and provide detailed support for any
    significant variances across the healthcare and education businesses.
  6. Assist with any day-to-day issues within the within the wider department
  7. In charge of reconciliation processes, insurance, banking and payroll. Ensure revenue recognition is
    accurate by monitoring the healthcare management software.
  8. Work closely on VAT submissions at quarterly reporting.
  9. Support year end audit process, liaising and maintaining regular dialogue with internal and external
    audit throughout the financial year.
  10. Prepare and agree presentation materials and financial data for use in financial presentations.
  11. Contribute to the process improvements at all levels to increase the efficiency and quality of all aspects
    of the finance and reporting functions.
  12. Produce routine and ad hoc analysis and reports as required and support ad hoc project work, in line with function business requirements.

KNOWLEDGE/ EDUCATION/ SKILLS

The role holder will hold a full accounting qualification or be part qualified and in the process of completing their
qualification ACCA, CPA, CMA.

EXPERIENCE

Sound, demonstrable previous experience within a finance function.

JOB PURPOSE

Assist the Finance Manager with all day-to-day financial reporting and management accounting functions for
all designated sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Greets and registers patients and notifies medical staff of their arrival;
  2. Offers complimentary beverages to the patients upon arrival;
  3. Maintains presentable appearance in line with Aspris standards;
  4. Verifies and inputs patient demographic and insurance information into the Tendercare software program;
