As our operations continue to grow, we are currently looking for a talented and motivated professional to join our team as: Job Description Accountant Assistant As an Accountant Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting on preparing financial statements and regulatory or internal management reports, expense management, and other data processing and reports preparation. Main Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Assist on month-end closings, prepares financial statements (lux GAAP, IFRS) and helps on regulatory reports (CSSF and BCL). Assist on the completeness and accuracy for the general ledger of accounts. Support the communication with auditors (internal and external) and provides them with requested documentation. Support expense management. Support other team members for data processing and reports. Perform any other task assigned by the manager. Qualifications Technical Skills & Qualifications Education Background: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking or Business Related Studies Hard skills: Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills, knowledge of VBA or other programming language will be an advantage Language: Fluency in English and Chinese, French will be an advantage Soft Skills & Attributes Work independently and effectively to deadlines, drive for results, focus on quality and make decisions in a timely manner. A good team player with good planning, organizing, learning and information seeking skills. Internal/external customer focus and detail-oriented. Effective written and verbal communication skill.
Responsibilities
The Accountant Assistant will support the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports, assist with month-end closings, and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
