    SUMMARY:

    Responsible for overseeing administrative and accounting duties within Canteen Vending operations. This role also supervises office staff in the absence of the District Account Manager and directly supervises employees in Accounting. Responsibilities are carried out in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including training and directing employees and addressing complaints by referring them to management.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    An Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The ability to compute figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume is necessary. Familiarity with basic hardware and software in a Windows environment and proficiency with a 10-key calculator are also required.

    Responsibilities
    • Perform computer entry and 10-key usage, calculate and pay account commissions, and file documentation.
    • Process payroll and submit HR forms for employees.
    • Manage vendor payables, including preparing and submitting DPRs and M&Es.
    • Reconcile cash received with cash recorded by route drivers; reconcile inventories.
    • Fulfill administrative responsibilities related to the union and its members.
    • Ensure a clean and safe work environment and perform duties safely.
    • Manage DOT administration for drivers.
    • Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
