Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, performing account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting our overall financial operations. Additionally, the Accountant will be experienced in conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accountant is a must.
  • ACCA or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting principles.
  • Experience conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Accounting: 3 years (Required)

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.

Account Reconciliation:

  • Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations.
  • Resolve discrepancies and ensure all accounts are accurately maintained.

General Ledger Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Review journal entries for accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on budget variances and financial performance.

Tax Preparation and Filing:

  • Coordinate and prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors as necessary.

Feasibility Studies and Risk Assessment:

  • Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate financial viability of projects and initiatives.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
  • Assist in the training and development of the finance team.
