OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • Proven accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Speaks English

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Proven experience in financial accounting
  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Spire
  • Knowledge in cost accounting an asset
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of financial auditing procedures
