Setup and Location: WFH/Remote Work Schedule: 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM QLD Time (07:00 AM - 04:00 PM PH Time) Employment Type: Full-time Ready to do work that actually excites you? Seeking an Accountant to handle the finance and accounting of the business and cover administrative functions, under the direction of the Financial Director. What You’ll Do All aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable, receivable and bank reconciliations. Maintaining customer supplier and employee cards and general setup in MYOB (and Xero) Importing invoices from our lab software into MYOB (and Xero) Weekly payroll and employee documentation Preparation and submission of Business Activity Statements and Superannuation payments. Cashflow monitoring Weekly and monthly financial reports Calculating selling prices of new tests and projects Managing grant and tax incentive applications Developing document flows and processes for new projects Developing written procedures for the position Maintaining an electronic filing system Office administration as required such as stationary, travel bookings, functions etc. Requirements What You Bring We’re looking for someone who: Specific on the job training will be provided but accounting and administrative ability is essential. At least 3 years of experience in accounting finance or bookkeeping role. A degree in accounting is preferable but not essential General administration skills. Advanced computer skills, including SharePoint, Emails, Excel and Word. The ability to quickly learn new tasks and adapt to a changing environment. The ability to work independently and show a high level of initiative. Effective communication with managers, suppliers, customers and other team members.
