Location: Auckland
Pay rate: $85,387 per annum

The ideal candidate will effectively manage the Fixed Asset and Inventory Accounting, ensuring that this function is completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed timeframes, governance, and compliance.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Relevant Bachelor or higher degree
  • At least 3 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and maintain Fixed Asset Ledger and Stock Management system.
  • Prepare all standard and month-end journals for required Fixed Asset activation, depreciation and/or retirement.
  • Prepare all standard and month-end journals for inventory usage and closing stock values.
  • Prepare monthly Fixed Asset and Inventory Balance sheet reconciliations and end of month reporting for use by local management.
  • Prepare monthly Forecast and annual Budget of Fixed Asset depreciation.
  • Assist with external auditors and internal audits.
  • Ensure internal controls across Fixed Asset and Inventory financial processes are intact.
  • Completion of sales invoices for MV sales to external parties.
  • Completion of sales invoices to related parties.
  • Ensure to be compliant with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002)
  • Prepare monthly and annual reporting under SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002)
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all company policies and procedures, including OH&S.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Manage self effectively through well-developed Time management skills.
  • Work well with others.
