We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Accountant/Senior Accountant to join our team in maintaining our financial health and supporting continued growth in the North American furniture market.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting operations—from day-to-day bookkeeping to financial reporting and tax compliance.
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting, with a focus on cost analysis and regulatory compliance. We’re looking for someone who not only excels with numbers but also collaborates effectively across departments, solves problems independently, and provides financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prepare and maintain a full set of accounts and an organized chart of accounts
  • Process GST/HST filings, payroll, and T4 submissions accurately and on time
  • Perform management and project cost accounting to support financial decision-making
  • Prepare accurate work papers, schedules, and account reconciliations for audits
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA designation (completed or currently enrolled)
  • Strong ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, SAP, and inventory management systems
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
